Tell Us What you Think

Hi Folks!

It has been just over a year since we launched our new website, we hope you are enjoying it? We have had some positive feedback and now is the time for us to redesign all of our leaflets. We call on you all to spare five minutes to look at our imagery in particular our most recent annual  reports. If you have any new ideas we would love to hear them or if there are existing images that you like and think we should keep please let us know

We will be holding focus groups over the next six weeks to gather in these views. If you wish to email or talk to us about your ideas please do, we would be delighted to hear from you.

In anticipation, many thanks

The Drop In Team

Make Over Day

If you asked us last week, we would have said "although our rooms are tired, we just havn't got the money to invest in redecorating", but it only takes a phone call and some good will and that can all change.

Stefanie at Grove Construction (London) Ltd called last week to say that Grove are looking to give something back to the community and are there any jobs needing doing at CDI? Little did she know that we have had materials donated over the last year but not the people power to get all the DIY jobs completed that we would love to have done and give CDI a little refresh.

Before we knew it, Grove had come and visited CDI and scheduled in the work to start, they agreed to redecorate our reception room, kitchenette and one of our upstairs offices. How exciting.

So today the work has started and it may be a bit chaotic but we are so grateful to Grove for choosing CDI to support in this way. We love our building and so do our young people but everyone needs a bit of pampering once in a while and our reception room definitely deserves it.

We'll keep you posted!!!

Welcome to CDI's new website!

Welcome

For those of you who know about Croydon Drop In (CDI) we have been without a website for quite a while. In some ways we have been used to this as we continue to be very busy in all areas of our work. We are thankful to young people, General Practitioners (GPs), schools and colleges who are amongst those who signpost to our agency. Some will know we have an active Facebook page and also quite a few followers on Twitter.

Many young people have contacted us through a private message on our Facebook page, we hope now that you will also feel confident in contacting us via our website contact email page.

The Board of Trustees would like to thank everyone who has been part of this long process, without a dedicated individual to manage any form of social media we have been very fortunate in having guidance from Fresh Lemon, the site developers, and Nicola Newman, the Agency Co-ordinator. I would like to thank Craig Parker, one of our former young people from the YPT who also worked on pulling material together for the site, Craig now lives in Australia with his wife but I know he will provide us with a keen critique of the site.

Finally, I hope you all like what you see, we trust that you will find information that you need and if you cannot find this information please contact us through good old fashioned letter, email or telephone. You can see our opening times by going to the 'get in touch' drop down.

Thank you,

Kim Bennett
